Big M Tire is located half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco in the rich farming valley of the coast of California.

The shop was started by Howard Mehlschau and Larry Mitchell in Howard's barn in Nipomo, California in 1985. They soon relocated to a small shop in Guadalupe, a small farming town, to better serve the surrounding farms. They eventually grew to the 10,000 square foot facility where they are located today.

Howard retired in May of 2003 and Larry is now the sole owner of the company.

Big M Tire has built their business on service, quality products, and integrity.
